ABOUT ME

I'm Rachael Jean and I am a Humanist Celebrant. I personally celebrate my one and only life daily by living it to the full, and I am delighted to be able to celebrate the milestone occasions of others' lives.

My career has meant I have been fortunate to "stand and deliver" all of my life!  Obtaining my degree in English and Theatre Studies and working as a Learning and Development specialist, I am very comfortable researching, preparing and delivering to an audience, of any type. I positively thrive on creating an experience which is truly memorable and provides everyone with a genuine, emotional connection.

As a certified life coach and licensed NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, I engage with you to learn about your stories and what matters to you as a couple or as a family. This allows me to create unforgettable bespoke ceremonies exactly as you wish, wherever you wish. Up a hill, while salsa-dancing, on a beach would all work for me (or as a lover of cold water swimming, in the sea would be absolutely fine too). Where do you fancy holding your ceremony?

I am also a proud mum to my brilliant daughter who is an NHS Midwife. We both believe in the importance of ceremony and family.

I especially enjoy celebrating the weddings and namings of those who care for others. If you work in a helping role, and are a Blue Light Card holder, you are entitled to a reduction in my fee, so please let me know when you get in touch!

My obvious enthusiasm for my role as a celebrant, interest in meeting you and your loved ones and pleasure in creating and leading your non-religious ceremony exactly as you wish, will be evident when we meet. So much can be included in a tailored, flexible ceremony that truly celebrates the uniqueness of you; that represents you, your values and your love.
